A few more lessons about your Purple Dragon Belt: LESSON TWO

The Belt must not be placed on the floor when it is not in use.. Fold it neatly and place it or hang it above floor level.

The Belt represents the degree of knowledge and commitment the wearer possesses, the level of discipline, self-confidence and personal commitment.

Avoid eating and drinking with your ceremonial belt .

Avoid loaning your belt to any one none ordained in your particular discipline.

Your belt contains your blood sweat and tears - do not wash it unless it gets excessively stained.

A formal procedure of Belt Change ceremony is done each time a student or Instructor achieves a new belt or title-rank. The person who conducts a belt change ceremony must wash their hands before putting on the candidates' new belt. A Black Belt must be at least, two degrees above to change the belt of another Black Belt.

Tying and wearing the Purple Dragon Belt. To learn more about tying, wearing and changing the belt, ask your Purple Dragon Dojo Instructor.
