Profiles of Purple Dragon Instructors of Canada

Sensei Daniel Jacob, 4th Dan Black Belt, is the elder son of Professor Don Jacob.  He was introduced to the Martial Arts at the early age of three. He currently lives in Canada and travels to many countries competing at major Martial Arts Games. He has been runner-up three times in the NBL world tournaments.

He is the 2002 Australian Middleweight Champion, He won Canadian Championships, Barbados Championships, Caribbean and Tortola Champion. He jointly world wide promote  Purple Dragon with his father. For more information on Sensei Daniel Jacob  classes please email danieldjacob@hotmail.com

Sensei Amber Murphy, junior 3rd Dan Black Belt, is the first Canadian woman to test and pass for a Purple Dragon Black Belt. She successfully operates a Purple Dragon Branch in British Colombia. She regularly journeys to Trinidad to train at Purple Dragon World Head Quarters. She specializes in Women Self Defense, Karate Aerobics and is a very successful international tournament competitor.  Canadian and US Open World  champion just to name a few, Sensei Amber classes are lots of fun for kids and adults.

Instructor Mark Spenser, 2nd Dan Black Belt, is based in Canada. He makes a super effort to train his students and prepare them for major international events . He also traveled to Trinidad and the US to train with Professor Don Jacob.

Instructor Laurent Page, Shodan Ho (apprentice) Black Belt. He was originally trained in Antigua under Sensei(s) Don Francis and Ivan Rodriguez and achieved the rank of under Black Belt.

After migrating to Canada he continued his training at the British Columbia ,Canada branch of Purple Dragon .He traveled to Trinidad for the Black Belt Examination where he was awarded the rank of Shodan Ho Black Belt.
